You’re not behind.
You’re unpositioned.

An 8-week program for designers, art directors, and creative directors, including those building a name around AI, who’ve done enough real work to know they’re good at this. The market just doesn’t see it yet.

If this sounds familiar

You’ve been doing this long enough that you expected things to be clearer by now, but you still can’t explain in one line why someone should hire or hire from you.

Your LinkedIn and portfolio look like everyone else’s in your field, even though your work doesn’t.

You’re working with AI tools daily, but you’re not sure how to talk about that in a way that builds credibility instead of suspicion.

People who are doing objectively less interesting work than you are more visible, and you don’t know why that bothers you so much.

The actual problem

Personal branding doesn’t fix a positioning problem. It just makes the confusion louder and more public.

Most advice goes straight to visibility: post more, show up more, build a brand. Recast starts one step earlier. We get your positioning right first, the argument for why your work matters and to whom, then build the visible presence on top of it. In that order, not the other way around.

Eight weeks. Two outcomes.

From the community

  • Having been a mentor and a mentee to many people on this platform, Sumeet is absolutely the finest individual I have encountered yet. The only thing that matches his kind heart and generosity is his brilliant feedback. Leaving the meeting, I was so energetic, focused, and excited about my future it felt like I could launch into the sky. I’d recommend you book time with him now, but then that’s one less time slot I could book myself. He’s not good, he’s the best. Thanks Sumeet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this for someone employed or freelance?

Both. The positioning and personal branding problem looks the same whether you’re trying to move roles, attract better clients, or simply be taken more seriously in your field. The 8 weeks are structured around your specific situation, not a generic template.

How is this different from a mentoring call?

A mentoring call gives you a direction. Recast builds the whole thing. Eight structured weeks means we go from diagnosis all the way through to case studies, a working LinkedIn presence, and a pitch you can actually use. It’s a program, not a session.

What happens between sessions?

Each session ends with a focused task: a self-audit, a piece of writing, a case study draft, or a positioning exercise. The work between sessions is where the actual shift happens. The sessions are for thinking together, the tasks are for building.

Do I need to be active on LinkedIn already?

No. Some people come in with an active presence that isn’t working. Others come in with almost nothing posted. The program starts from your actual situation, not from an assumed starting point.

How much time do I need each week?

One session per week plus roughly 2 to 3 hours for the between-session task. The tasks are designed to be focused, not open-ended. You won’t be staring at a blank page wondering where to start.

What if I’m already using AI in my work?

Good. Week 6 is specifically about how to talk about AI in a way that adds credibility rather than inviting skepticism. If you’re already a practitioner, the goal is to make that visible and legible to the people who need to understand it most.
